As of July 1, 2022, OQEMA, one of the leading chemical distributors in Europe, has reached a new level of partnership with BASF on its Specialty Amines portfolio in the regions DACH, Benelux, Eastern Europe, and UK / Ireland. The companies who have been cooperating for more than two decades agreed on joining forces using OQEMA’s dense distribution and sales network, alongside its excellent knowledge of local markets, combined with BASF’s capability to provide high quality products on a large scale in a competitive way.

‘We are delighted about the new partnership with our long-term partner BASF. This will give us the opportunity for joint growth and to offer our customers an extended specialty product portfolio and strengthen our position in the market’, says Tobias Hinz, Head of Technical Applications, OQEMA GmbH.

‘Our joint goal is to grow in the upcoming years by leveraging our mutual strengths. Our partner OQEMA helps us to manage complexity in supply chain and customer service, which allows us to focus. We are convinced, that this new and higher level of cooperation opens plenty of new business opportunities for BASF’s Specialty Amines portfolio and beyond.’, adds Dr. Michael Limbach, Director Sales Specialty Amines Europe, BASF.
