"Baden-Württemberg is to become a leading climate protection country. At the EVS35 in Oslo, we want to demonstrate what is already feasible today and want to set new benchmarks", says Baden-Württemberg’s Minister of Transport and Member of the State Parliament Winfried Hermann. "It takes a joint approach and ambitious goals to successfully master the upcoming challenges. At the EVS35, we will therefore seize the opportunities for a cross-industry exchange with international experts from the field of electric mobility and for the establishment of new cooperations and partnerships."
e-mobil BW network partners representing THE LÄND
The exhibitors at Baden-Württemberg’s stand will showcase innovative solutions for electric mobility "made in THE LÄND". The portfolio of exhibits ranges from charging infrastructure and technological developments for electric vehicles to sustainable and renewable energies. The EVS conference program also features many contributions from the South-West of Germany. Baden-Württemberg’s Minister of Transport, Winfried Hermann, will deliver a keynote speech in a plenary session on "Regional Frontrunners" on June 14. Background: Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition (EVS)
The EVS is a worldwide event format that dates back to 1969. It rotates between Europe, Asia and North America and is organised by the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) and its three contintenal associations "European Association for Electromobility" (AVERE), "Electric Vehicle Association of Asia Pacific" (EVAAP) and "Electric Drive Transportation Association" (EDTA). In 2017, the EVS30 was held in Stuttgart. The State Agency e-mobil BW was among the regional co-organisers then.
In a network with partners from business, academia and the public sector, the e-mobil BW state agency is promoting the industrialisation and market introduction of future-oriented mobility solutions. In doing so, it strengthens Baden-Württemberg as a location for business and science in the long term and thus pursues a regional strategy for establishing climate-friendly and connected mobility throughout Baden-Württemberg.
