And this is how "Most Wanted: Roommates" works: a well-known personality applies in the show to move into an empty room of a real gaming flat share in Berlin-Kreuzberg where the show’s two hosts both live. The pilot episode during gamesweekberlin will be streamed from the studio of the Opening Breakfast. "Most Wanted: Roommates" will be produced directly from the flat share from episode two onwards.
“Most Wanted: Roommates" is being hosted by Stefanie Langer, best known for presenting the ran e-Sports magazine programme and eSports Summer Unitymedia, and the YouTuber, gamer and chef Mori (Maurice Lange), who successfully combines his passions for games and cooking on his YouTube and Twitch channels. During the show, they’ll talk with the guest, play games, chat with the Twitch viewers and vote at the end on whether the guest can move into the flat share. In the process, the viewers get to know the guests’s personal sidet.
The first guest is Anna, the JAM FM radio presenter and influencer with over 100,000 followers. She was discovered by the bestselling author Sebastian Fitzek, who used to work as the editor-in-chief and programme director at several radio stations and found her Facebook videos so funny that he helped her get her own radio show at JAM FM. Her fan base has continued to grow ever since Jan Böhmermann spoke enthusiastically Anna’s Instagram stories on Frank Elstner’s YouTube chat show "Wetten, das war’s?".
Simon Krätschmer of Rocket Beans will be the guest in the second episode to be streamed live on December 21. Simon is a TV presenter known from various GIGA formats. He created the video game show Game One with Daniel Budiman and was a presenter there for several years.
"Most Wanted: Roommates" has been developed by FACTORY-C in cooperation with Booster Space. JAM FM is the media partner.
