A world-renowned event
Organized jointly by fairtrade Messe and Messe Düsseldorf, plast & printpack alger has established itself as the region’s leading platform. This 9th edition will welcome over 290 exhibitors from 21 countries, showcasing innovative technologies and solutions to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Over 5,000 Algerian and international professionals are expected to attend, underlining the importance of this event for the industry.
Focus on innovation for a sustainable future
Algeria is increasingly focusing on sustainable materials, recycling, and the circular economy. The plast & printpack alger 2025 show is therefore a catalyst for the transformation of the economy towards a circular economy, in which innovation and recycling play a key role.
The show supports Algerian professionals in their transition to environmentally friendly practices. The objective is clear:
- Adopt sustainable materials, strengthen recycling initiatives, and promote circular models.
- Encourage investment in cutting-edge technologies to develop local production, boost exports and limit imports.
Strong institutional support
The event is supported by prestigious partners, including ACIMGA, Advantage Austria, AHK Alger, AMAPLAST, AVEP, CCIAF, CCI Mezghena, CREA, ITA Italian Trade Agency, German Ministry of Economic Affairs, Turkish Ministry of Trade and VDMA. These collaborations reinforce its strategic role in the development of plastics, recycling, printing, and packaging in Algeria.
Algeria, a high-potential market
For several years now, Algeria has been investing heavily in the production of plastic raw materials in order to gradually reduce its dependence on imports.
According to the German Mechanical Engineering Association (VDMA),
- Algerian investment in plastics and recycling technology rose from 91 million euros to 210 million euros between 2020 and 2023,
- investments in printing and paper technologies increased from 88 million euros in 2019 to 95 million euros in 2023, and
- investments in the packaging sector rose from 136 million euros in 2020 to 161 million euros in 2023.
With these massive investments, Algeria confirms its position as one of the most dynamic markets in Africa and the Middle East.
A structured event to maximize opportunities
To make it easier for economic operators and interested visitors to find their way around, the organizers have structured the show as follows:
- Ahaggar Pavilion (left): Plastics machinery
- Ahaggar Pavilion (right side): Printing and packaging machinery and materials
- Casbah Pavilion: Raw materials and plastics machinery
plast & printpack alger 2025 isn’t just a trade show, it’s a catalyst for change towards a competitive and sustainable Algerian industry.
Get ready to discover tomorrow’s solutions and play your part in building a greener, more prosperous industrial future.
