The adoption of PCIe 4.0 technology in the Industrial-Grade PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe SSDs offers double the speed and double the bandwidth of 16GT/s compared to PCIe 3.0, as well as a maximum capacity of 4TB and backward compatibility with PCIe 3.0, making these SSDs ideal for areas such as 5G, AIoT, data centres, edge devices, gaming and enterprise applications.
Innodisk Industrial-Grade PCIe 4.0 SSDs feature an integrated and very thin graphene heat sink that maximises heat dissipation to keep read and write performance constant. This is achieved by a smooth speed reduction and thermal throttling when the temperature rises above the threshold. This prevents sudden speed drops.
The industrial-grade PCIe 4.0 SSDs feature an 8-channel controller and an SLC cache in hybrid mode, which allows data to be transferred at a read speed of up to 7,150 MB/s and a write speed of up to 5,250 MB/s. The SSDs are made of industrial-grade PCIe 4.0 material. The memories are made of industrial-grade NAND with the newer process of 3D TLC 112 layers and offer a lifetime of 3,000 P/E cycles.
To prevent data loss, the Innodisk Industrial-Grade PCIe 4.0 SSDs support iCell technology. This data protection mechanism uses capacitors with voltage detectors to ensure instant, reliable and complete transfer of buffer data to flash memory. With iCell’s data buffer management, all buffer data is transferred to the flash chip prior to a total power failure, preventing data loss and device reboot issues in the event of unexpected power failures.
The Innodisk Industrial-Grade PCIe 4.0 SSDs are suitable for the industrial temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C and are suitable for all applications where speed and reliability are critical.
Innodisk has introduced a new series of high-performance industrial-grade PCIe 4.0 SSDs. The storage is designed specifically to meet the demands of next-gen computing and is particularly suitable for data-intensive workloads in 5G and AIoT applications. In addition, Innodisk Industrial-Grade PCIe 4.0 SSDs have a range of features that deliver speed and reliability for demanding industrial environments.
