Arnold NextG was named one of the three most successful start-ups in Germany at the German Innovation Award 2025. The young technology company led by CEO Kevin Arnold impressed the top-class jury with its groundbreaking NX NextMotion technology – a key innovation for the fully autonomous driving of the future.

Visionary technology for autonomous mobility

With NX NextMotion, Arnold NextG sets new standards for fully autonomous mobility. The platform combines steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire and acceleration-by-wire in one central control unit – ultra-redundant, TÜV-tested and developed according to the highest safety standards in the industry (ISO 26262 ASIL-D, ISO 21434). The system paves the way for Level 5 fully autonomous vehicles – without a steering column, without a safety driver, but with maximum safety and platform-independent integration.

The jury recognized Arnold NextG as one of the three most successful and important technology start-ups in Germany. With its NX NextMotion technology, the company is making a significant contribution to the future of mobility. The jury particularly emphasized the pioneering combination of safety, scalability and integration – an innovative approach that has the potential to shape vehicle development in the long term and set new standards in autonomous driving.

"From Germany for the world: "We control what moves

"This award gives us great pleasure – it shows that our technology is recognized not only in the professional world but also beyond as a trendsetter for the mobility of the future," said Kevin Arnold, CEO and co-founder of Arnold NextG. "NX NextMotion is much more than a control system – it is the key to a new era of mobility: fully autonomous, safe and inclusive. Our central control unit is platform-independent, can be flexibly integrated as a series solution or add-on – and is developed and manufactured entirely in Germany. My special thanks go to our fantastic team – without their passion, expertise and tireless efforts, this success would not have been possible.

With five development sites in Germany and a global sales and service network, Arnold NextG offers a complete solution for OEMs, special vehicle manufacturers and urban mobility providers. The technology enables not only fully autonomous driving, but also remote control, teleoperation, platooning and barrier-free mobility for people with disabilities. We congratulate the winner, Additive Drives GmbH.

A quantum leap in vehicle control

NX NextMotion is more than just a technical system – it is a paradigm shift: away from the mechanical steering wheel and towards software-based control. Arnold NextG supplies not only the components, but the entire system – hardware, software, integration, service. Everything from one source. Made in Germany.
