vitagroup has launched its Health Intelligence Platform (HIP) on AWS Marketplace, enabling healthcare organisations to purchase and deploy the software directly from the curated digital catalogue of trusted third-party solutions provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The AWS Marketplace listing follows months of innovation and extensive testing by vitagroup to bring HIP to the global healthcare market. vitagroup has become an AWS partner on the software path, completing a Foundational Technical Review (FTR) for the HIP platform, which includes rigorous assessments to ensure its infrastructure complies with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, and meets Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks for cybersecurity best practice. HIP also complies with strict healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance on data privacy, ensuring a secure and trusted solution for healthcare providers and research institutions.

Built on the secure and scalable cloud infrastructure of AWS, the HIP platform is underpinned by open standards, supporting a wide range of applications including real-time patient data management, integration of electronic health records (EHRs), and wearable devices. The HIP platform allows healthcare organisations to eliminate vendor dependency and accelerate transformation, while maintaining full ownership of their data.

With the HIP platform, organisations can benefit from enhanced features that extend beyond a Clinical Data Repository (CDR). HIP provides advanced integrations capability, Identity and access management, wider administrative and binary data stores, multi-tenancy capabilities, security and audit, and delivers to key government data and compliance requirements.

Through AWS Marketplace, customers now also benefit from simplified procurement and deployment, seamless integration with the AWS cloud computing infrastructure, and scalable solutions tailored to their needs. By combining the power of AWS with the advanced features of the HIP platform, vitagroup offers a leading solution for driving digital transformation and ensuring quality data is accessible both for research and at the point of care. As part of its launch on AWS, vitagroup is offering a free three-month trial of the HIP platform, allowing customers to explore its capabilities.

Dr. Nils Hellrung, Director Strategy and Operations, vitagroup: “Being listed on AWS Marketplace is a significant achievement for vitagroup. It reinforces our commitment to simplifying healthcare data exchange and enabling organisations to deliver integrated, patient-centred care with minimal technical barriers.”
