Turkish commercial vehicle manufacturer Anadolu Isuzu has presented its new BIG.e electric micro truck at the IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover from 17 to 22 September. The four cubic meter micro truck can transport up to 1000 kilograms and has a range of up to 170 kilometers.  With its environmentally friendly all-electric equipment and compact dimensions, the BIG.e offers a cost-efficient solution for all last-mile deliveries in the micromobility segment.

Anadolu Isuzu has been producing commercial vehicles in the truck, van, midibus and bus segments for over 40 years. The commercial vehicle manufacturer has created a new category that will make a difference by transferring its 40 years of experience in the commercial vehicle segment. The “BIG.e” is a fully electric, zero-emission commercial vehicle designed & produced by AOS, a brand under Anadolu Isuzu.

Award-winning design for urban use

With its modern design, maneuverability and user-friendly features, the BIG.e can be easily operated in urban traffic and narrow streets. Winning Gold in the 2023 German Design Awards, the “BIG.e” offers a sustainable and economical transportation solution by reducing operating costs thanks to its electric engine. It was designed to bring a new breath to commerce with it’s 1000 kg carrying capacity and alternative battery and range options.

Easy charging for maximum flexibility

The BIG.e can be charged as easily as a mobile phone, directly at the socket. The standard charging time is five to nine hours, which can be reduced to three to five hours with the appropriate charging accessories. Quiet and emission-free, the BIG.e with its spacious interior is versatile and ideal for businesses of all kinds. Another plus: the vehicle is uncomplicated and safe to drive.

Areas of use

The BIG.e offers an environmentally friendly solution for last-mile deliveries, where goods need to be transported quickly from warehouses and hubs to the end consumer.  These deliveries often face major challenges, particularly in metropolises and urban infrastructure. With the BIG.e, urban micromobility becomes fast, environmentally friendly and cost-efficient for companies from all sectors, such as pharmacy warehouses, hospitals, supermarkets and many others.
