PowerBully tracked vehicles are specially designed for use on difficult terrain. With a payload of over 11.5 metric tons and minimal ground pressure, these all-terrain tracked vehicles transport bulk solids, materials and attachments to sites of deployment that cannot be reached with wheeled vehicles.

Powerful on difficult terrain: Large running wheels and cab suspension

PowerBully tracked vehicles are notable for their large running wheels. The steel running wheels each have a diameter of 87 cm, the largest in their class, are mounted on pendulum axles and enable optimum adaptation of the running gear to the ground. This design enables the PowerBully to cross over uneven depressions on the terrain with ease. Another one-of-a-kind feature in the industry is the suspended cab, which PowerBully offers as standard. The hydraulic bearings act as shock absorbers and, in combination with the large running wheels, result in extremely smooth running. This means PowerBully operators can maintain a constantly higher speed even on rough ground.

One more advantage of the large running wheels is that, compared to smaller versions, they are more wear-resistant and do not need any top rollers. These features are reflected in an increased service life as well as in optimized maintenance costs.

Powerful and efficient drivetrain

A powerful 6-cylinder Cummins engine with up to 285 metric HP provides PowerBully with the power it needs for off-road use. The hydrostatic drive enables precise maneuvering in challenging environments. All PowerBully models are the only track utility vehicles equipped with a rear-wheel drive. This not only provides a high degree of traction and fuel efficiency, but also results in a comfortable level of noise in the cab. In addition, the rear-wheel drive makes it possible to use asymmetrical belt tracks, which achieves an even lower ground pressure.

Operating safety: PowerBully features impressive ground pressure, wading depth and climbing performance

With PowerBully, the construction site never stands still. Due to the large footprint of the tracks, the machines have a minimum ground pressure of less than 200 g/cm², which is many times lower than for conventional wheeled vehicles. As a result, PowerBully has no difficulty moving over soil that is soft, muddy, or has a low bearing capacity, which ensures operating safety regardless of the weather conditions. With a wading depth of over 1.35 m, PowerBully reliably performs work even in areas that are near a shore or flooded. The climbing performance of 60% (31°) uphill and downhill as well as 40% (22°) sideways makes it possible to work safely on steep slopes.

360-degree view for more safety

In the PowerBully cab, the largest on the market, the operator has an open view of the entire work area. Large windows and the down-slanted engine housing allow for an unobstructed view of the machine’s surroundings. The 360° or backup camera and the electrically adjustable side mirrors round out the 360-degree view. Even in the dark or in poor visibility conditions, the high-quality LED lighting guarantees optimum illumination for an environment in which work can be done safely and efficiently.

Safe and durable from the bottom up

The spacious cab offers the operator a lot of room to move around. All PowerBully models come standard with ROPS certification (Roll-Over Protective Structure) and protect the operator. In addition, PowerBully is the only machine in its class that comes standard with Level II FOPS certification (Falling Objects Protective Structure). This means that even without an additional roof grille, the operator in the cab is protected against falling objects such as stones and branches. Numerous additional functions such as the 2-axis incline sensor round out the PowerBully safety package.

Comfortable, ergonomic and user-friendly: The PowerBully cab

The workstation in the PowerBully cab is tailored to the individual needs of the operator. The suspended seat can be adapted to the weight of the operator and allows for height and depth adjustment. This ensures that the operator stays comfortable even when working for long periods. PowerBully can be optionally equipped with either a steering wheel or a single-hand joystick to move the machine accurately and easily. The operating panel in the armrest and the intuitive 11-inch touch display can be used to control further machine functions. The display additionally gives the operator automatic reminders about pending maintenance. Tapping an additional joystick in the dumper models enables the dump body to be lowered automatically while the machine is in drive so that the operator can remain fully focused on the route.

The machines‘ intuitive operability and the ergonomic cab fixtures are complemented by air conditioning, heating, a radio with Bluetooth and hands-free settings as well as USB ports for smartphone charging. At the same time, the cab provides adequate storage space for tools, backpacks and personal items, and even the cup holder is temperature-controlled. With these features, PowerBully is setting new standards in the area of comfort during long periods of work.
