"Katja Ziegler has informed the IAV Supervisory Board that she will leave the company at her own request on 30 June to pursue new career opportunities.  I regret this decision very much, because the cooperation has always been very trusting, collaborative, and successful. She has not only actively kept the company on track and profitable in times of extraordinary economic upheaval. With a clear focus on working capital management, she also ensured that the company invested in new technologies and growth-generating business models in a disruptive market environment. On behalf of the entire Supervisory Board, and also personally, I wish Katja Ziegler the best of luck and success on all of her future professional endeavors," " says IAV Chairman of the Supervisory Board Dr. Nikolai Ardey.

Katja Ziegler has been with IAV since 2010 and held various management positions in the finance division during this time, most recently as CFO and Managing Director of IAV.

As CFO, Katja Ziegler both generated and implemented important initiatives for the development of IAV to a Tech Solution Provider. Under her responsibility, the company carried out a comprehensive strategic realignment of the IT department and corporate security, in addition to the development and implementation of cyber security strategies.

Most recently, the finance division focused on enhancing the international IAV partner network as well as the development of IAV locations from a strategic perspective, both of which Katja Ziegler successfully oversaw.

As successor, the IAV Supervisory Board has appointed Martin Mahlke as new CFO and Managing Director.

"With Martin Mahlke, we were able to add a proven expert and financial strategist to IAV. He will use his international experience and expertise to benefit the company and continue the internationalization of IAV together with our CEO Dr. Uwe Horn. I am looking forward to working together with Martin," says IAV Supervisory Chairman Dr. Nikolai Ardey.

Martin Mahlke is a physicist and has held various positions in the finance division of the Volkswagen Group since 1991. From 2003 to 2006, he was responsible as CFO and member of the Board of Management at VW Navarra in Pamplona, Spain, for the European production of the VW Polo. He then returned to Group Controlling as head of the Controlling Value Creation Processes department. In 2010 he became Head of Group Controlling.

Starting in 2016, Martin Mahlke was once again working internationally for VW: First as CFO of the Volkswagen brand for the North America region (USA, Canada and Mexico). Beginning in 2019, he served as CFO and member of the Board of Management of Skoda Auto Volkswagen India PL in Pune/India – the company that bundles the activities of the Group brands in India.
