Aetina is launching two new AI inference platforms, the MegaEdge AIP-SQ37 and MegaEdge AIP-FQ47 series. These systems are capable of inferring new facts from an existing database. The series can be integrated into a wide range of AI-related systems as they have I/O interfaces that support various peripherals and sensors.

The MegaEdge AIP-SQ37 series is suitable for use in smart factories, for example, to reduce the risk of injury to people on the production area. Using intelligent 3D cameras and motion detection algorithms, the AIP-SQ37 series creates a virtual 3D observation scene for robot arms. This allows the system to detect people who have entered the working area of the robot arms. A signal is then sent to the robot to make the arms slow down their movements or stop them completely. Thanks to its six USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, which have a data transfer speed of up to 10 Gbit/s, the MegaEdge AIP-SQ37 can also be used for automatic optical inspection (AOI) using USB cameras. With two removable 2.5" SATAIII SSD/HDD trays, the AIP-SQ37 allows users to easily replace storage drives, reducing maintenance costs. With the embedded MXM GPU cards, upgrades are possible to increase computing power while keeping the platform small and energy efficient.

The MegaEdge AIP-FQ47 series AI inference platform is suitable for use in AOI systems. Users can use the AIP-FQ47 to develop an AI visual inspection solution for defect detection in manufacturing with vision positioning algorithms and linear image sensors. Once installed, the system first detects and collects image data of the units under inspection (UUT) via the image sensors and then identifies the faulty ones, which helps to ensure the level of production quality in smart factories. The AIP-FQ47 series has a flexible PCIe interface for expansion with various graphics cards. In addition, the AIP-FQ47 series has 4 LAN ports, allowing AI inspection systems to be built with IP cameras.

The MegaEdge AIP-SQ37 and MegaEdge AIP-FQ47 series can be used in various fields such as smart city, smart factory and smart retail. With the advantages of high computing power, high stability and high flexibility, AI projects can be more easily implemented using the MegaEdge AIP-SQ37 and AIP-FQ47 series.
