In addition, ITG Air & Sea GmbH strengthens its management. As of October 1st, Jürgen Erdt takes over the commercial management as an additional Managing Director. The expansion of the management team will allow Holger Funk to focus more on his role as CFO within LGI Logistics Group International, ITG’s parent company, in the future.
Jürgen Erdt has over 30 years of experience in the air- & oceanfreight sector in various international management roles and joined LGI in November 2020. Prior to this role, he worked for 5 years as Managing Director of JAS Forwarding in Germany with a focus on air & sea. Prior to that, he spent more than 25 years at Panalpina in various roles, which always had a very strong sales focus. From 2011 to 2015, Jürgen also gained international experience in Asia as Managing Director of Panalpina in Malaysia.
