Today, MBCC Group, one of the leading suppliers of construction chemicals and solutions worldwide, has announced that it will enlarge its senior management team by adding the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) as of March 1, 2021. In the future, MBCC Group will be led by a senior management team comprising Dr. Jochen Fabritius, who was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in October 2020, and who will continue to lead MBCC Group. The newly established role of COO will be taken over by Hendrik Heising who – up until now – has been working as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MBCC Group.
Dr. Hartwig Grevener will succeed Hendrik Heising as CFO on July 1, 2021. He will join MBCC Group from Sonova, a global player in the MedTech industry listed on the Swiss stock exchange, where he holds the CFO role since 2012, most recently also overseeing IT and acquisitions. Before joining Sonova, he was CFO of Jet Aviation.
From 2001 to 2006 he worked as CFO for the European operations of Gate Gourmet, one of the leading global airline catering firms. His previous professional experience includes positions at Hapag-Lloyd, a German logistics group, A.T. Kearney management consultants, and BMW. He holds a diploma in business administration and mechanical engineering from the TU University of Berlin (1991), Germany, as well as a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of St. Gallen (1994), Switzerland.
