The National Steel award exists since 1971 and celebrates the inspiring use of steel in projects of construction, modification or renovation projects in the Netherlands. The jury nominates projects in five categories, which are utility construction, industrial construction, housing construction, infrastructure and characteristic steel components.

Since 2012, Rhenus has been working with Dutch-based developer DOKVAST to build smart, innovative and sustainable buildings and share a common belief that functionality, feasibility, comfort and outward appearance are key considerations.

Together, with the vision of architect Hung of Habeon Architecten, we were able to realise a building that has become a landmark for sustainability and design in the Netherlands and abroad.”
